Kara has been in my circle of four best friends since we were all in grade school. Have you ever seen the sisterhood of the traveling pants? Well, that’s basically us. ANYWAYS! Kara and I have been there for all the big moments… we were there for each other in the awkward middle school phase, we went to prom together in high school, and I stood next to her as she married the love of her life two years ago. But yall… This season is by far my favorite; Kara is pregnant!! I can’t wait to meet little Ellie Kae in October. Congratulations Kara... you and Matt are going to be amazing parents!
Also, cutest moment from Matt and Kara’s session… We did some pictures of just Kara and her sweet little bump. Matt steps aside and looks at his wife and says, “Wow Kara, I’m going to be crushing on you for the rest of my life.” Yep, I’m a puddle!

Jean and Jacob's wedding day could be described in one word... FUN! I love connecting with my couples, and the Whites were no exception. We laughed, we cried, and we danced! I loved every single part of this day and I'm so excited Jean and Jacob invited me along to document their special day. Congratulations Mr. And Mrs. White!!
I absolutely LOVE weddings, and this one was extra special! I've known both Hope and Aaron for almost my entire life, so it was such an honor to capture their special day in the place we all met and grew up. I remember growing up with Aaron in youth group and being his friend... wondering what special girl would get to marry such an awesome person. I had no clue it would be the cute little junior high girl who had been there this ENTIRE time! I have never captured a wedding where the guest list included so many people I knew and loved, and that's what I felt all day; LOVE. Even going back through the gallery, I can see and feel the love these two have for each other and the love and joy their friends and family wish for them. Congratulations you two ❤️
It’s not every day I get to capture this cute little family stationed all the way out in Virginia!
Weddings are so special to me! Couples invite me into one of the most intimate days of their lives. There's tears, joy, anticipation, nerves, and utter happiness that fill the atmosphere and I get to be apart of it all. Carilia and Diego's special day was no exception. Every touch was beautiful... Their vows in both English and Spanish, Diego's reaction to his bride, the wedding lasso, Carilia's dad's tear filled dance... I can't pick a favorite!
Gracias por compartir su dia especial conmigo. Muchas felicidades para Diego y Carilia!

Tarzan and Jane meets Taylor Swift's "Wildest Dreams" music video... This styled bridal editorial is one of MY wildest dreams come true. Teaming up with Jennifer of Love Events by Jen, I was able to make my dream shoot a reality. We wanted this editorial to be different and most importantly FUN! I mean, we were getting to hang out at the cutest little petting zoo, how could it not be?! So we went to work recruiting all these amazing vendors to make this all happen! We wanted wild and unruly florals that looked as if they were plucked straight from the jungle, Kelly from A Perfect Bloom captured that perfectly with this messy but beautiful bouquet and centerpiece! And can we talk about those giant palm and banana leaves with calligraphy? The Paper Supply Co hand wrote those with the most delicate of touches and I am obsessed with them. Rebecca of Rebecca Green Design went above an beyond with our paper goods. Yall, she HANDMADE that leather envelope and it's absolute perfection! When it came to a cake, we wanted something non-traditional. The Blue Cake Company did an amazing job at coming up with something unique and beautiful to fit our wild styled shoot! The Bridal Cottage is my forever go-to for gowns, Lindy and her girls are always so helpful and helped me choose both of these gorgeous classic dresses for Jade to wear. When it came to hair and make-up we had to have that classic vintage vibe Taylor Swift had in her video so I teamed up with my favorite stylist, Brittanie Wallace. Brittanie worked her usual magic: we went with big soft curls, neutral eye shadow with a winged liner and that classic 50's bold red lip and Jade looked radiant! When it came to our models, Jade was the obvious choice! She looked just like Jane and had that natural beauty we needed to pull this off. Cole, stepped in last minute and saved this shoot... And come one, it's not everyday you get to photograph a Survivor contestant! He was the perfect man for this shoot. Jennifer and her team put in all the manual labor to make this dream shoot, a reality and I'm forever grateful for the result. So many wonderful vendors, and I'm so lucky to have captured it all!
I'm so excited to be sharing these images with you! I can't say enough about this shoot; so many talented people brought their own unique style to this, and I feel like we created something beautiful. Grace Starr and I originally watched Demi Lovato's "Tell Me You Love Me" music video and immediately thought, "YAAASSS Queen! This looks like a wedding I want to shoot, and like NOW!" From there our Pinterest board started filling up and some amazing vendors started putting work in. Looking at the finished product, I absolutely love every single detail and I feel like we made Demi proud because everything turned out GORGEOUS!

This session was particularly hard for me... Ella Grace Witkowski is a 2 year old lab with bone cancer. When Haley and Alex first reached out to me about capturing some family pictures, I had not idea what they had in store. Unfortunately, Ella has been give a short time left with her family, and her parents wanted to make the most of it by making some memories before it was time to say goodbye. Our session was full of laughter, playing ball, and of course, tears. Life with our fur ones is already short, but no one expects to have to say goodbye this soon. I'm so glad I got to meet Ella before her time to go.
This weekend, the Lord answered some of my prayers and Erin Wilson hosted her first photography mentoring workshop! I, along with eight other photographers from all over the south, gathered around a table at Vase & Vine Florist while Erin discussed all thing photography and answered all of our industry questions. After brunch, Erin set up a couple gorgeous styled bridal shoots for us. Can we all just agree, STUNNING! I loved getting to meet so many talented women and seeing all of our different results in the end! It was such a fun day, and I'm so excited to share my images from it with you. Enjoy :)

I absolutely LOVE engagements! It's an hour or two where I get to know a couple and see their love for one another. While I've known both Hope and Aaron for almost my entire life, I hadn't really had the opportunity to see them together as a couple until I got them in front of the camera. It turned out to be so fun and natural! Even going back through the gallery, I can see and feel the love these two have for each other and I am ecstatic to be documenting their special day in July!
I love capturing proposals! It's that moment where a girl realizes that this is it, she's becoming a bride and all that childhood planning about to finally coming to life. The dresses she'd pictured herself in, the thousands of pins she's pinned on Pinterest, and the venues she's already secretly creeped online... everything gets real in that moment. The groom is the final detail, and once he drops into place, the emotions hit and kleenexes go flying. Chase planned every detail with both of their families and it all went perfectly! Both sets of parents were there, her best friend helped trick her into getting there at just the right time, and her nails were even done! Sarah walked into the chapel thinking she was meeting everyone to go look at Christmas lights, and even as Ed Sheeran blared through the speakers, she still didn't catch on. It' wasn't until they passed their families and Chase took her to the Christmas tree on stage that it hit her, this was it, this was the moment, and this was the man she was going to spend the rest of her life with. Congratulations Chase and Sarah!
